Many anti-aging night creams contain ingredients such as hyaluronic
acid, Retinol SA, and Glycolic acid. Retinol SA and Glycolic acid work
by penetrating the top layers of your skin and weakening the lipids
which hold dead skin cells in place. By exfoliating your skin, these
ingredients allow newer, healthier skin to show. It helps to keep your
skin plump and extra-moisturized, making lines and wrinkles less
noticeable. Night creams contain similar moisturizing ingredients to
those found in day creams, but the difference is they often contain them
in higher concentrations, making night creams a bit heavier.
